Lincoln, Learning & A Bowl of Cherries

Roger and I have started a photography course, and I am madly in love with it already! (we've only done one lesson) In lesson one we learned about Shutter Speed, and picked up some really good tips to go along with what we already know.
So today Lincoln and I went to the store and cherries are on sale! woop! I knew the minute I put them in my cart that I wanted to take some pictures of them. I really love the colors.

The picture below is my newest all time favorite of Lincoln. The light was coming in perfectly as we got ready for bed, and so I begged Roger to play with Lincoln while I played with my camera and angles. I didn't do any post processing on this, I love it just the way it is. The light and color is what I dream of! (no, really. It's my favorite kind)
I'll be posting a lot more class assignments on here for the next 5 weeks, and I can't wait! I'm excited to see my progress :)

  1. So beautiful! It sounds strange but you have a beautiful colander too! I think the colors really help contrast with the cherries (plus you set it up all fancy-like). You are doing so great!
